Recreational Trampolining

Thank you for your interest in our recreational trampoline classes

We cater for all ages and abilities, aged 5 and over in a safe and friendly British Gymnastics recognised environment.

During these sessions, gymnasts will work through the British Gymnastics proficiency awards. The proficiency awards aim to teach trampoline gymnasts their basic trampoline skills and over time more advanced skills such as front and back somersaults. These session take place in Charter Hall at Colchester Leisure World and are led by our qualified coaching team.

Our Recreational classes run on the following days at the times stated below: 

Mondays:
5.30-6.30 pm: Under 12s
6.30-7.30 pm: 12+
7.30-8.30 pm: 10+

Wednesdays:
5.00-6.00 pm: Under 12s
6.00-7.00 pm: 12+

The cost of the classes is £70 per 10-week block. Gymnasts will also need to join British Gymnastics at a cost of £22 per year (membership runs from 1 October to 30 September).

What to wear

Gymnasts should also wear appropriate attire for the sport. Leotards are preferable but shorts/leggings and t-shirt is fine, socks are essential. Long hair should be tied back. Crop tops and jeans are NOT allowed. For full guidance you can view BG’s policy on our Jewellery Policy page
